A vented, dirt-floor crawl space pulls in humid air all summer and holds onto it all winter — encapsulation cuts that cycle off completely, often noticeably within a season.

What "specialized" actually means for crawl space encapsulation at our company — not a marketing word, a set of specific practices.
Our crews understand stack effect, dew point, and vapor drive, not just how to lay down a liner.
Most Freedom, NY inspections are scheduled within a day or two of your call.
Pricing is based on crawl space square footage and the specific liner thickness recommended, quoted in writing before installation.
Dehumidifiers, when installed, are crawl-space-rated units sized to cubic footage, drained to an existing sump or gravity line.
Each service below is scoped specifically to crawl space encapsulation, not a generic waterproofing menu with the name swapped in.
Seams are taped and mechanically fastened at wall terminations so the barrier performs as one continuous system. This is the baseline fix for most crawl spaces showing chronic humidity above 60 percent.
Older homes with foundation vents are often pulling humid outside air in during summer months — the opposite of what venting was originally meant to do.
A properly sized dehumidifier drained to a sump or gravity line keeps relative humidity below the threshold where mold and wood-destroying insects thrive. We size units to cubic footage, not floor area, since ceiling height varies significantly between crawl spaces.
We install a dedicated sump basin and pump sized to the space's water intake, tied into the encapsulation system's drainage channel.
Every encapsulation project includes a structural inspection, and we flag any concerns before sealing the space, not after.
Four steps, start to finish — from the first call to a sealed, humidity-controlled crawl space.
A quick phone triage helps us bring the right liner thickness and dehumidifier sizing to the first visit.
Most Freedom, NY inspections are scheduled within a day or two given how quickly moisture issues compound.
Pricing is itemized: liner and sealing, vent covers, dehumidifier if recommended, sump work if needed.
The space isn't complete until humidity readings confirm the system is holding at target levels, not just until the liner is down.
